STEPHANIE WRAY
Biography
Stephanie A. Wray is a graduate of Naropa University where she received her B A in Visual Arts. She then went on and studied Art Therapy receiving her MA in Art Therapy and Mental Health Counseling. Stephanie has been a professional artist for 30 years painting murals both commercially and residential along with creating custom mosaics and paintings. Her paintings are in collections in the U.S., Europe, Canada and Africa and she has participated in many juried shows in Texas, Florida, Colorado and Massachusetts in addition to group and solo shows.
Stephanie mainly enjoys painting and creating stained glass mosaics in bright colors, with movement, line and shape. She is influenced by the people that she meets and the stories that she holds from those people. Stephanie also is inspired by nature, the places she lives and her deep emotions and thoughts about the world and all its happenings. She finds that many times she is creating art for someone she has not even met yet but the painting finds the person.
